Football season is once again here and we have received requests for tickets. Please note that neither Art nor our organization has access to tickets for donation or for sale.

Welcome to Gambling Prevention Awareness. GPA, a non-profit organization, run by an independent board of directors, was founded in 2006 by Art Schlichter, a recovering compulsive gambler. Our purpose is to provide the general public with an understanding of ways to prevent problem/compulsive gambling and to encourage treatment for individuals and their loved ones in need of help.

Art has released a book detailing his personal life story including his crimes of ticket fraud and check forgery committed to get money to gamble.

Art has no access to donations made to this organization or the money from the sale of his book. All personal and business finances are handled by his attorney to help safeguard his recovery.
